Carol and Jim Frankel Use Bequest to Go “All In” for Kinkaid

Being “All In” for Kinkaid comes easy for Carol and Jim ’69 Frankel. Not only does Jim credit his 13 years at Kinkaid with being the springboard for the rest of his life, he and Carol have sent all four of their children, Kevin Frankel '97, Scott Frankel '99, Lisa Frankel Lee '03, and Leslie Frankel Weiner '03, to Kinkaid and their ten grandchildren have followed suit.
Now, to ensure future generations of Kinkaidians enjoy the same opportunities, Jim and Carol have established a bequest in their estate plan boosting the All In Campaign and supporting the School well into the future.
While a student, Jim was active in theater in middle school and played four years of varsity soccer. Since graduating, he has remained closely connected through helping with the Phonathon, serving as a Kinkaid Fund grade captain and grandparents chair with Carol.
“My 13 years at Kinkaid gave me an understanding of who I was and who I wanted to become as well as an appreciation of people from different backgrounds and values from mine,” Jim says.
With their estate gift, Jim and Carol are helping future students receive the golden opportunities Kinkaid offers. “We appreciate the quality of educational experience that our children and, more recently, our grandchildren have experienced,” Jim says. “Kinkaid has delighted me in how each child can thrive and excel in whatever area of interest they have.”
Jim and Carol hope other alumni and parents of alumni will join them in supporting Kinkaid’s future success.
“Kinkaid stands alone,” Jim says. “These significant gifts make the difference between just going to a school and gaining a world-class education.”
